June Snow

While down low the salmonberries are getting ripe and the garden is booming; up high the snow is holding on.  Last year the skiing on Pyramid was done by the 1rst of June, but this year it looks like we'll be skiing for another week or so at least.  We have not had good June skiing for a few years now - not since 2012 when it was really, really good (check out this post from late June 2012) (and click here for July skiing in 2012).  In 2008 I noticed that we skiied to the end of July ( click here ) so I guess this year is still below normal - but better than the last 3 years.

I've been taking the dogs up almost every day, and a couple of days ago I met Eric and Lisa.  Just up on the mountain enjoying the sunshine.  Patrick
