Last night I watched the most beautiful, classic Christmas performance ever.
It was the St.Mary's Christmas performance and the evening was perfect, between the acting, singing, set, props...
The story was the classic story of Jesus in Bethleham with the sheriff. The songs are the classic songs, which made the production all the more beautiful. There was nothing electronic or hollywood about the performance. All original vocals, instrumentals and acting which was genuine and enthusiastic. I'm a less-is-more gal, and this was just simply perfect.
Stuey had a line, "Thank you for the story grandpa" and both kids really seemed to enjoy themselves sitting on the stage singing along.
I squeezed Patrick's hand several times during the performance; Proud for St. Mary's and such a well done production.
