Garden Picking Up Steam
This summer the snow has been great and the garden about 3 weeks behind schedule (growing challenged). But all that is beginning to change. In the last few weeks the garden has really taken off. I am finally eating a few carrots, the lettuce is great and the potatoes seem to grow an inch a day. Pretty soon we ought to be eating beats and broccoli too. At the same time, the skiing on Pyramid is finally coming to an end. The run back towards the car has gotten too skimpy to bother with, and the only worthwhile run left is into the North Bowl followed by a long walk back to the top to get home. I guess it is officially gardening season. Patrick
