This morning when I got to the parking lot at the pass to go skiing it was overcast, gray and dreary. I thought I might even be skiing in the rain. So I left my sunglasses in the car - Big Mistake. I got to the top and the sun came out. The sunlight on the snow was very intense. It was so bright that I had to keep my eyes shut and open them every once in while to make sure I was going in the right direction.
But there were clouds too. Big thunderheads. And the visuals of cloud shadows, white snow and varying shades of white - stunning. Patrick
