Waking up to snow in May puts me in a good mood. Of course I realize that the ground has warmed up and that the snow will all melt by evening. Afterall, I have been prepping my garden beds and KNOW the soil is warm. But up on the mountain this snow will be all powder and I will have a great ski. Up on the mountain it really is still winter. Up on the mountain the snow will be sticking around.
Also the new snow will be good for the garden beds. As it melts it will be like time release moisture and it will be better absorbed by the soil. Despite the snow I will be planting my garden this weekend. What I really hope is that I am wrong. Patrick
