More Snow on the Mountain

These days I have a tough decision every day - what type of skiing will it be?  Classic cross country skiing, skate skiing or downhill?  Really with the snow we now have you can't lose.  Today I went up Pyramid with my downhill skiis and found pretty good powder and light winds on the southeast facing slopes.  High winds up on top had scoured the west facing slopes.

Now I will watch the kiddos while Zoya and Mary Jane go to Fort Abercrombie with their classic skiis.  The skiing on Lake Gertrude is pretty darn good.  Tomorrow I think Zoya and I might try a ski tour across Buskin Lake and up the valley.  So many lovely options.  Patrick
